Removal Tips

All Purpose Stain Removal:

Step 1: Combine 1/2 cup Clorox color safe bleach crystals and 1/2 cup Cascade Dishwashing Crystals and dissolve in hot water. 

Step 2: Soak your items overnight, then rinse well and wash as normal. 

If you see spots after washing repeat the process. DO NOT dry your items if spots are still visible, it will set the spot!

 

Baby Poo:

Step 1: WASH IT IMMEDIATELY!  

Step 2: Remove all the poo and then use hydrogen peroxide on the stain.

Step 3: Let it soak for a bit and then place in the sun. This will natually bleach away the stain!

 

Crayon on Furniture & Toys:

Two words: Magic Eraser!

 

Grass Stains:

Step 1: Rub white vinegar and baking soda in the stain

Step 2: Let it sit for several hours.  Rinse and repeat if necessary. Launder as usual. 

 

Ink Stains:

Step 1: Place the garment on a paper towel and pour rubbing alcohol over the strain to transfer it to the paper towel.

OR
Step 1: Spray with hairspray and rinse with water

 

Nail Polish:

Step 1: Place the garment on a paper towel and pour acetone to transfer it to the paper towel.

**USE CAUTION WITH SILK, WOOL, & RAYON**

 

Shoes:

Step 1: Apply toothpaste to scrubbing pad.

Step 2: Scrub and rinse

 

Spit Up:

Step 1: Mix one part Dawn Dish Detergent and two parts hydrogen peroxide.
Step 2: Let it sit overnight and rinse. Launder as usual.
**For stubborn stains, try adding baking soda**

 

Strollers:

For Mildew: Apply vinegar and let soak. Scrub and rinse.           
OR
Power washer always does the trick.
