HOW TO PREPARE
YOUR ITEMS

 

Clothing Guidelines:

  • kids preemie to size 16 (click for full details)

  • young adult & women (click for full details)

  • maternity

  • freshly launder and lay flat (not folded)

  • current styles only (2 years or less sells best)

  • clothing sets together (laid on top or folded together)

  • snap, zip, or button all pieces

  • double check all pockets for hidden treasures

  • shoes must be scuff free, have clean laces and soles

  • NO stains, tears, holes, missing buttons, animal hair/lint or mothball/smoke odor will be accepted

Toys, Furniture, & Baby Equipment Guidelines: 

  • squeaky-clean

  • in working condition (include batteries)

  • check that it has all the parts (items missing parts will not be accepted)

  • when delivering items, place parts to all toys or accessories secured in a zip-lock bag or in its original box.

  • Please check REGULATIONS and RECALLS before consigning car seats, baby equipment, furniture and toys. Car seats expire 6 years after the manufacturing date. Check the manual or manufacture for more details: www.recalls.gov or www.cpsc.gov

Bagging Your Items:

  • Place items into a laundry basket/bin OR place all items in a white or clear 13-gallon plastic bag & securely label it with your first & last name for a quick processing.

  • Be sure all items that cannot fit into a bin/bag are also labeled with your first & last name using a piece of paper. Index cards & painters tape work great for this. 

HANDLING FEES apply when a large amount of items do not meet our guidelines, so please be sure to examine, launder/clean all items before dropping off.
